Generator Maintenance Plan

1. Check for water, oil and fuel leaks.
2. Clean generator of debris.
3. Inspect generator housing for rust and physical damage.
4. Inspect generator for rodent damage.
5. Test fault lamps.
6. Check condition of battery, add liquid, recharge or replace
if necessary.
7. Inspect charging systems.
8. Check engine oil and oil filter; replace if necessary.
9. Inspect cooling system's freeze point and level.
10. Check block heater.
11. Check spark plugs, clean and adjust.
12. Clean air cleaner; replace if necessary.
On every service visit we will:

13. Run unit and check for unusual sounds.
14. Inspect muffler system.
15. Inspect and adjust fan belts.
16. Inspect hoses for leaks and damages.
17. Inspect fuel system, replace filter if necessary.
18. Check operation of venting system.
19. Inspect rotor and stator.
20. Check and adjust governor system and AC output
frequency.
21. Check and adjust voltage output.
22. Inspect automatic transfer switch.
23. Perform simulated power outage test.
24. Record generator hours.
25. Submit report to customer.
